Polished solid vs pearl

Is there much of a difference in reaction from the 2 ? Lets say a polished Grudge solid and a Grudge Pearl ? That would be trying to polish the solid as close to the pearl out of box as possible.

Another option - buy the second ball, then put a completely different surface on it.  For example, ball 1 - 500 grit, ball 2 - 4000 grit.  --  JohnP

I rarely use the Grudge right now as I have a Cash and Guru Supreme which are very similar balls. I used the Grudge as an example because there is both a solid and pearl (and hybrid) version of it.

I can't agree more with the different surfaces. If you have the Cash and Guru Supreme, put different surfaces on them The Grudge should actually fit kinda in the middle of these. With my stats, I would use something like- 1000 on the cash - 2000 on the grudge and 3000 on the guru supreme. This would probably create some more separation between each of them.

Or you can always drill two of the same ball with different drilling’s I have 2 absolute nirvanas one pin down and one pin up so u can have one for the heavy stuff than switch to the pin up one and have a similar look I also polished my pin up one so I can notice a big difference between the two but it also eliminated me from carrying so many balls and I rarely pull out my pearl unless I have to depending on what the lanes are looking like that night

If that's the situation polish that ball up and get it on the lanes. Never any sense to leave something sitting around collecting dust.
