Poll: Do you ever get bored of Bowling?

Hey guys,

Just wanted to throw this out there.
I love bowling more than the next guy, but sometimes I get to the point where I get disinterested or lose passion for the sport. Many of you pick up other sports or have other hobbies on top of bowling.

I pose this question to those who consider bowling as their #1 hobby and to those that treat it as a secondary hobby etc.

I have been playing in basketball and softball leagues lately and have been having a lot fun in these leagues for the past several years. Although, whatever other sport I participate in, I always come back to bowling and love the comraderie and competition.

I went from 3 leagues to 2 last year, and only bowling in 1 this year. I'm hoping the one night I will look forward to it. Last season it seemed going to bowling was more a chore then fun. Hopefully 1 night a week will work. I was hurt alot so I figure cutting down the games should help.

I bowl with a great group of people, our nights out are never boring.

Not at the moment. I used to have more at-home hobbies when I was at university, and used to play volley ball. But with my job and infreuquent/unpredictabel working times (just like at the moment...) I found bowling to be a nice and flexible occupation to "clean the mind" and either play with friends or do some training on my own. And I find it very rewarding, since I see progress and I really enjoy the league and tournament play. Not sure what the future brings, but at the moment it is my #1 hobby.
