How Many?

How many bowling alleys are in your area? I just checked and there are 19 within 17 miles of my home. Just wondering how every where else is.

In all of Erie county (Buffalo Area) there is at least 50 centers...It would take me an hour to think of all the houses and make sure I didn't look over any.

Way way way too many to count (east side of detroit), within a 10 mile radius of my house there are 18. And yet I still drive 30 minutes for league and 20 minutes for practice, just because the junior program is better and the other alley ALWAYS has practice areas available.

2 in the Duesseldorf city area (max. 30 min drive, plus 1 opening this summer)
5 in neighboring cities (more than 30 min drive, 2 of them awful...)

Looks like bowling 3rd world, I guess?

im sad to say that i live in Queens New York and as of next friday there will be only 2 places left in queens. It was Bellerose lanes, Whitestone lanes and Jib lanes, but Bellerose is closing (and my job is gone). Now we are left with a wood sh!t house, Jib, and a synthetic ok house, Whitestone (FYI, Tommy Delutz Jr is the pro shop guy over there)

olympia lanes---32 lanes
southside lanes---24 lanes

if you want to go to the Nampa/Caldwell area then there are 3 more.  but thats about 25 miles out.
