The new LT-48 would be a close fascimile, as would the Freeze solid and the Hook Hybrid (blue & yellow). The LT-48's backend is slightly less sharp than the Hook Hybrid; both arc and not anywhere near skid/flip. All three cover the medium-light to medium oil patterns with control and carry power that the Onyx covered so well.

This will be difficult.  Here is the problem.  Unlike most of the other dry lane balls with tamer shells, the Vibes have a very low rg core.  This promotes a much smoother reaction coming off the oil, and allows you to play straighter on wet dry or hooking conditions. 

I told the Hammer guys in Reno that if they were smart they would re introduce the Vibe core.  Just as an addendum, I made about $5000 throwing my Cobalt Vibe in Vegas and Reno over 2 weeks on a variety of conditions.
