I was just thinking about this reading the post on picking up the 7-10. Do you guys think it would be better to take get a 10 pound plastic ball and deflect it into the ten or to hit it the right way? i have deflected the ball into the 1,2,4,6,10 and made it, and have tried it with a regular washout without picking it up. I find that there is too much room to miss when you go at it the regular way, seeing as if you miss a half board right, it goes in front of the 10 pin, and half board left, and it doesnt get to the 10. What do you guys think of this idea?

I agree with Rags on the 1,2,4,6,10,...although I've only made it 2x out of 4 this year !

I wish I'd only have left it 4 times this year, and like Rags, I can remember when nobody even left it.

I pick up the 1-2-4-10 approx 60-70% of the time by throwing over the first arrow and angled on a line between the 3 and 6 Pin and hooking the ball hard enough to go Brooklyn. The head Pin then goes over laying horizontaly (not vertically) and takes out the 10 Pin. As long as you hit the head pin thin enough on brooklyn to get it horizontaly over to the 10 pin area, you will take the 10 Pin out almost every time. The key to success here is to be sure you get it to the 10 Pin area horizontaly (laying down) and not vertically. (standing up)
