pre bowling
« on: June 28, 2010, 12:31:41 PM »
I am in a league where i just realized a team pre-bowled the first week of league and they weren't even on the roster. First week of bowling shows 6 teams. Second week of bowling shows results for 6 teams,no absents no vacant. Third week shows this team with 12 of 14 wins in first place and now there are eight teams and they get 7points,because they bowled the vacant team. They all bowled within avg. because it was the first week. Is this legal. and thier established handicap after pre bowl/post bowl is 159 pins for 3 man team. How would you feel, especially since they are running away with the league.

Go to the president of league as well as the secretary and request an explanation. How a team that isn't even on roster bowl is beyond me but who knows. I would be interested to know what the deal is when you find out.

anyway back to the original question..

rule 104d/1-2 states a league can adopt the following

1. allow the team to make up the games unopposed and match the scores with teams that previously bowled

2. the entering team is not allowed to make up the games and the league standings are based on a percentage instead of most wins/losses
