Kegel Training Center - Anyone used it?
« on: February 08, 2006, 02:45:44 AM »
Have any of you here at BR used the Kegel Training Center? I'm looking to go this summer and would like to know if it's worth it. Thanks!

We've were there a couple of years ago but not for training.  We met with Richard Shockley and Stephen Padilla for a tour of the facilities.  Everything looked very first class.  The training area was excellent.  They have had some personnel changes but still be a great place to be looked at.  It's kind of odd looking from the outside and definitely impressive on the inside.

I didn't get to watch the show last week.  It's kind of fun to look into the crowd and see who you recognize.  Richard was working for Brunswick but I have heard he is back at Kegel.

I talked to Shockley a good while at the Atlanta stop and he still works for Brunswick. He is head of coaching for Brunswick and is working on some great stuff for turning open bowlers into league bowlers.

Bowl great!

I have been it is great they will give you a lot of advise record you from about 4 different angles, and try to show you how to fix what is wrong. It is a frist class place all the way. If Randy will work with you I would take him, very smart and a great coach as well as one of the best proshop people I have ever met.
