pro shop and coach in santa barbara/socal area

hey guys,

a friend of mine is moving to the santa barbara area and is looking for a good pro shop and coach. he is a former junior team germany player. any help appreciated.

socal area..Mark Baker is the only gold level coach I know...he is at fountain bowl on weekends, along with Barry Asher, who owns the proshop there.
my friends goes there on weekend for group clinic. Mark Baker does one on one too.

Go to the only show in town - Zodo's.  Only center in Santa Barbara.  Ask for Tom in the proshop.  He has access to Bowler's Map and Digitrax and is very qualified to use it.  He also coaches the UC Santa Barbara college team.

Mark Baker is good, just 125 miles from Santa Barbara.

I live in So. Cal, and Barry Asher at Champions Pro Shop in Fountain Bowl is who I go to to get my stuff drilled. Every Saturday at 12:00 PM, he has a clinic down there. $10 for about 2 hours of bowling. Coaching from him and Mark Baker. Rhino Page and Bill O'Neill have been down there as well. Both Asher and Baker are great coaches.

My girlfriend spent an hour with Missy the first week of July this year at Saddleback Lanes and was thoroughly impressed.  She convinced me to go see Missy for myself.  I had my first session with her earlier this week.  That was the best coaching I've ever had and the best money I ever spent, bar none.  She did more for me in one hour than any other coach has done -- ever.  She even fixed my ball drilling.  Bowling feels good again!  I now have a lot to work on and it's exciting.  Enough so that I'll need until at least late September or early October before I go back to get more things to work on.  I'm building a list of more things for her to help me with.  I hope she stays in SoCal for a few more years. If she does, I may actually finally get good at this game.
