Where are you in NJ?
North, central or South?
It's not a big state, but you don't want to traverse north to south or south to north to get to a good pro shop.

There are 2 excellent pro shops in Bergen County (northern NJ): Metro Bowl in Fair Lawn and Rick's Pro Shop in Lodi Lanes. If you Google Metro Bowl and Lodi Lanes or Rick's Pro Shop, you will get all the contact information that you need.
Good luck.

Pro Image Bowling in Rockaway Lanes in Rockaway and Parkway Lanes in Elmwood Park. Both run by Kenny Yakabosky (sp), Al Jones, Fred Borden and Jeri Edwards. Great people and great work.

Relatively close to NJ, if you wanted to take the drive out towards Long Island, Tommy DeLutz Jr has a shop in New Hyde Park, NY at Herril Lanes. Definitely a good person to check out.
