I want to do a survey from ALL the pro shop operators that post on here...I am interested in what you charge for certain services as well as an average on bowling balls. Please post below if you do not mind. I will be doing a presentation to our customers and am looking for a national average on certain pricing. Also let me know the general area if you don't mind.

Resurface - Varies, usually $10 or so(depends how badly damaged the ball is)
 
ball prices(including grips, not including slug)
 
Poly ball - ~$70
Entry - ~$110
Mid - usually MSRP
Pro - usually a bit less than MSRP
High - $210 or thereabouts

Slugs:  Installed, $10.  Not installed, $7.50.


Resurface:  $30  (surface adjustment, two included with ball sale, $7.50 after that)

I use ala carte pricing, and usually mark the ball up a certain percentage from my cost including shipping.  I try to be competitve with the internet and the few other shops in my area that offer similar services and expertise.  I don't compete with price though, I am in a very affluent area, and my overhead is predictably higher.
