Pro shop recommendations in Sacramento Area
« on: August 13, 2016, 09:54:19 AM »
Hi all, Sorry I dont know where I would post this(mods please move this to the correct section if this isnt the right one)

Anyways I moved to sacramento about a year ago and have been going to a certain pro shop which I will leave unnamed. I am very happy with the service, the only problem is they are only open Monday-Friday till 5pm and closed on the weekends. This does not go well with my schedule as I work weekdays and get off at 5 and have the weekends off.

I need some recommendations on pro shops(could be in a center or out of someones garage). I am very picky when it comes to having my bowling ball drilled(need someone who can hit their marks consistently and nail all the pitches right). I do not mind paying more for drilling as long as its consistent and done right.

Sorry for the long read. Thanks

Don't know which pro shop you're referring to, but if you want accuracy and consistency in the drill, I'd head up to Fireside Lanes in Citrus Heights. Caleb does a killer job there, and apprenticed with Gary and Leanne Hulsenberg when they ran the shop there before taking the job at Storm HQ. I previously went to a place that royally screwed up my span and pitch, and when I went to Fireside and had them punch up a ball, I never had a better fit. That fit is now what I've had a previous pro shop I went to when I lived in Las Vegas use if I get a ball punched there, plus is the same fit I've had the shops emulate at the Stadium.

If in town, I'd make the drive up there, and ask for Caleb.

I've never used that shop before, but I did tell some local bowlers to try him out. He seemed to do a good job for a young blood. Go check him out bro... or you can come with me to see Dave whenever I got my priced ball - no rules not shipped yet.
Does a round object have sides? I say yes, pizza has triangles..

Young is the right word for that kid. I still want to see some I.D.

If I'm not too far come on out to Delta Bowl in Antioch  :)
Open till 7 during the week and Sat from 1:30 to 6.
Only issue is I work for the Raiders and gone for away games. I do have another experienced dirller who is here in the mornings M-F and when I'm away. If interested, let me know and I will get back with a phone # and we can talk!
