Ok, now I know I get on here sometimes and say dumb things. But I do care a lot about Bowling and Yes I own a online shop. I just want everyone to compare. I realize Brick shops have to make money because of their overhead. But some of their prices are a little high. I went into one last week. They were selling the Dexter SST8's for $225.00. Online You can get them for $150.00. They had a Storm Virtual Energy for $229.99 + Grips and Slug. = $245.99. Online You can get it for $165.00(not drilled). So there is some prices that SOME brick shops have too high and that is why they go out of Business. EVERYONE is hurting because of the economy. Hopefully it will get better.

Let's see you buy a ball online drill it it cracks do you think the shop will get it fixed for you? Hell no have you ever tried getting a ball replaced by a manufacturer its not always easy. You buy it at a shop they take the time to work with you get your pap help with surface adjustments our shop gives a free 30 mins lesson a free resurface and rejuvination. Online is one of the reasons I think bowling is going down hill

I totally disagree. Online is helping Bowling. We are selling more products and getting more people to Bowl. As for the Cracking, anyone that buys from Us gets a new Ball and sends the old one back to Us.

turbo 4n1 1.25
vise 1.15
tenth frame 1.15
3.85 shipping and handling via usps

It's not cheaper.  You continue to leave out the price to have the ball drilled.  $139shipped plus $50 to drill plus grips and slugs for around $15-$20.  Why does no one ever factor in the cost the person has to pay to actually take it to a shop and still have it drilled?

Your math is as good as your "quoting" skills.

If your prices are so good, can you breakdown your prices?
I would like my cost of the following

C-System 3.5 165.00 plus shipping
Raw Hammer Jacked 135.00 plus shipping
Onyx Vibe 125.00 plus shipping

In regards to buying 1000 at one time, you don't have to to get price drops. its by level of sales. Level 50, Level 40 etc...

First of all slugs and grips with Me cost $1.19 each. Slugs $3.99. So aadd $50 to drill and You get $195.37. Shops charge $229 + Hows that for math.

Because I don't have too. Just listing price because $165 seemed high online for a VE.

I'm sorry boos your a moron. When your online sellers drive proshops out of business where will people get sized and drilled THE RIGHT WAY?  Any one besides very begginers that know nothing that trust an online site to put holes in a ball are dumb. I want to see my ball punched up in person. In our shop if we put a drill that doesn't work for you or the wrong fit we do whatever it takes to fix it even if it means drill a new ball. Will your online shops do that? NO!

You don't know what that shop is paying for those items, might be less than you pay for your "internet store".  You also don't know what their overhead is, they may be paying premium for the space they have, plus internet, phone, taxes, insurances, salaries, supplies, equipment upkeep, electric?, etc...

If the market will bear it, then the price is not excessive.  If you don't like it as a consumer shop elsewhere, but don't begrudge them how they run their business.  IT IS A BUSINESS.
