looking for a coach
« on: May 30, 2003, 09:54:42 PM »
Hi, I'm new to this board and not exactly new to this game.
I'm from singapore and would be going to New York during my hols for a week, so i was wondering if theres anyone living around there that could coach me or give me some idea where to find a coach, and know how much it costs.

Any help would very much be appreciated.
Thank you

Shinobii,
I know a very fine coach in East Hampton NY. His name is Cliff Tarpley. His Wife (WIBC hall of fame) Patty Ann can also help you. I have not seen them in a few years but I think they are still there. They are running the bowling center. Call the Center and ask for Cliff or Patty Ann. Tell them Ron Clifton told you to call.

Check out the Ritger Clinic. If you have a few days, it would be WELL worth your time and money.

I start each day with yoga and meditation. I put my right foot under my left thigh. I put my left foot under my right thigh. I arch my back as much as I can, and then I begin my mantra: Ouch, oh, that hurts.

Ron,

I hear that Cliff and Patty moved to Chicago about a month ago; I believe she's from there originally.

Also, they were running Westhampton Bowl, not East Hampton.  Ownership of the house recently changed, and I guess they weren't hired by the new owners, or simply took the opportunity to do something else.
