buying a ball (HELP!)
« on: May 05, 2005, 12:45:55 PM »
Looking to update old equipment...I have a list of balls on the "maybe" list, but my question is in regards to ball specs...specifically top weight and pin placement. When ordering a ball, should I specify these, or let the supplier ship a "mystery" ball? I am a 3/4 roller, medium speed, 215-220 avg bowler with OLD eqipment. I want to take full advantage of the new equipment available, but want to make educated decisions in the process. I've been reading alot lately trying to become a student of the sport/game. I used to rely on practice alone, but I am ready to take things to the next level. Any suggestions for placing that ball order? Thanks! -Jon

Thanks for the suggestions...any input at this point is great. Being out of the game for 10 years has certainly opened my eyes and ears!
