best ball for the usbc "white" pattern?
« on: February 18, 2011, 11:31:42 AM »
I'm a med-high speed player with med-high revs and I'm looking to find a ball that will give me decent length with a good backend motion on the white pattern. I've never bowled on it before, so any input on what to expect would be nice as well. For that matter any info on the pattern couldn't hurt. As far as manufacturers go, I'll throw pretty much anything, but would prefer to stay away from brunswick. Lmk what you guys think. Thanks in advance.

I assume you asking this question for our state tournament?  Two major things you have to look for the first being the volume of the patter is only 18 units which is not much at all.  Secondly the surface Candle lite is gaurdian and  Lefervers is old wood. I think a wide range of balls will work but its going to depend on the lay outs.  I'm bringing my stuff that is weaker down the lane that way I'm hoping to to create a little miss left.  I'm bowling next weekend so I will see how that plan works.  Good luck.
