Monkey Boy,
To summarize most people's observations, the future of bowling is to be found in the past. Accuracy and adaptability is and always will be the key to good bowling. The future as in the present has come to be focused on which ball will go the longest and give me to most flip and hook on the backend and in which center can I find the oil pattern to give me more than 10 boards of area at the arrows, so that my ball will still hit the pocket AND CARRY when I close my eyes, stand left and fling right (for righties).
Accuracy and adpatability have come to mean less and less, and luck and carry power and finding the right ball means more and more. When the number of times luck is the reason for winning gets so high, it almost makes no sense to enter tournaments, it's time to re-think the "game"/"sport".
Heck, even on the TV show, for the past XX years, we have been talking about "Fred" actually bowling/executing the betetr game, yet "John" won the tournament because he carried. Just the fact that we even consider talking about that subject means somehtign is wrong with this sport.
And, as Bones has said, if you have a problem, post a detailed question. It WILL be answered by someone.
