Wood lanes ~ Problems with
« on: September 06, 2006, 10:36:58 AM »
Hi - I just started a new league in another city, Brighton Michigan.  The house,
Brighton Bowl has wood lanes and seems to have minimal friction.  Very difficult to get ball read at mid or late lane.   Does not seem to have any deep shot and any swing shot seems to be inconsistent.   I do not know what they are using as a lane conditioner.  It seems pretty slick and did not break down after 3 games of 5 players.  The shot seemed to give a lot of over under problems with designer spares.  Any thoughts on how to solve this problem?  It has been a long time since I have bowled on wood lanes.

Thanks –  Denny
