PWBA and Urethane

Why dont the girls on the PWBA use urethane?

Most don't have the rev rates for Urethane to make sense. It's the same reason that Urethane is a niche for most bowlers.

Like the previous poster said, urethane is a niche piece of equipment.   As a low rev player, I find it useful on some heavy wslled house shots, and some short patterns, under 37 feet.  The women typically dont see either of these patterns very often.

I agree about it being very conditional, and the women (As mentioned) doesn’t have the rev rate, or versatility to create the necessary motion that certain conditions require.

Some of us barely can.

For even the women with higher rev rates, the lanes still aren't breaking down the same. The men will break down the lanes quickly in the center. Women will create more of a hook area b/c they mostly play about same area.
