Just past half way of the summer league and....
« on: July 04, 2003, 05:44:40 AM »
The place where I primarily bowl is a small 14 lane house, it is over 50 years old and still has the above ground ball returns. It is notorius for no carry, and lowering averages of guys that bowl in the easier houses in the area.

Anyways, I started a summer league there, they normally just close down in the summer. We bowl 4 games, the first 3 count for your sanctioned scores, but all 4 count towards your average. I am the only one there working in a 10 team league, 4 per team. I chase pins, work the front desk and work the snack counter. Currently I am averaging 214. With that said I only average 185 in the 4th game. By the time that game is reached I have almost nothing left. I cannot focus at all at that point. I am dead tired.

I wanted to see what your opinions would be on carrying an average like that while basically doing everything. I know it is rough to do everything, but I am very disappointed in that average. I guess I had higher expectations.
