When did you polish that? It was my understanding that the Leaps had a "sandblasted" OOB finish.  I'll post an example later since I know where 2-3 NIB Quantum Leaps are located.

Yeah, those balls are polished. I had a Leap and it had a dull finish. I owned several Quantums and loved them all except the Leap. For what ever reason I could never match up to it.

Mine was dull too, never really worked for me until polished. Had my best results with it in single at USBC.

There was the Quantum Leap- black sand that was dull..
And I believe there was a Quantum Raven..

I had one of these not sure which.. All I know is it didn't perform like my Quantum Fire did.. love that ball.

OK. Sorry then..was there a quantum leap and a quantum leap black sand??
Cause I had one that was black but was polished.. I actually took it down so that it was different from my quantum fire...
I just thought I received the raven cause it was polished and the pics looked black on the internet..

Fresh out of the box...

FWIW - If you have a Raven Quantum it will appear black, but at Brunswick a lot of their blacks are dominated by purple pigments.  If you''ve ever seen the Techline pigment chart for a Danger Zone you''ll know what I''m referring to.

I''m glad whoever took the pictures of the polished QL kept their pants on...

I had the QL Black Sand a while back too bad it was 16, loved that ball.  Great solid reaction.  I did have to adjust the grit on it as it was very dull oob. I had my best reaction with it at 2k abby.
