Albany, Oregon, for those who are wondering, for the Oregon State Queens.

Donna Stewart, from Lebanon, OR, won. I didn't stick around for the last few matches, but she was the one who knocked me out 233 - 205.
I came in somewhere 9-11th - don't know exactly where. Won my first match, got beat 258 my second match, and 233 to go home.

There were a total of 45 entrants. The first cut line was 1160. The cut to the top 16 was 1187. Both these numbers were for 6 games.

AMF Albany Lanes was a great host.

You know what? I didn't put a team into state. Either of them.
I need to find out when they end, and come down for a weekend and see if I can sub in either Grants Pass or Medford.

I'd tried to get an all woman team to go down and bowl "mens" on one day, and "woman's" on the other day, but no one else was up for that much bowling in a weekend.

Wimps.

Mumzie,

Tournament ends June 6th. Since it is in our assocation, I am there every week end working. You should have no trouble getting on a team. There seems to be 2 or three people missing every weekend. Go to OSBA.net and give Ione a call to set you up. She is the State Sec. since her husband passed away.

Winner - Donna Stewart - Lebanon, OR
2nd - Samantha Kessler, Portland
3rd - Lori Eschew - Hillsboro
4th - Kathy Tribbey - Portland
9th - Cindy Whiteman - Portland
10th - me.

I don't know about the rest of the field.
