Jeff Carter's website
« on: September 25, 2008, 06:01:24 AM »
Does anybody else get a prompt to install an antivirus software every time they go to his website.  I tried to go there awhile ago and this happened so I stayed away.  I just tried to go there again today and the same thing happened.  Is it just me, or is it happening to anybody else?

That is really weird Jeff. Time to get those code monkeys at the Google working on a fix!

Jeff, you may want to check your rewrites because it looks like something stems from there. If I post headers to your site with no referer (emulating simply typing in your address and hitting enter) your site returns a 200 ok status. If I feed it a referer of:
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=jeff+carter+bowling&btnG=Google+Search&aq=f&oq=
during the get request, it responds with a 302 redirect to:
http://87.248.180.90/in.html?s=ipw2

You might want to look at this:
http://www.askdavetaylor.com/how_people_hack_apache_web_server_rewrite_rules.html
since it seems to relate to this issue. Sorry I can't be of more help but my Apache experience is limited at best.

Works fine from Goggle now, although the link address in Google has index300 at the end. Could be at one time the site was down for maintenance, being redirected, and Google just kept the redirection address.
