Can lane conditioner act as oil? My league house puts down very little oil (no rings appear), but it plays the same as a medium oil house i practice at. Could lane conditioner be the cause? Or something else?

15 years and still going strong! 15 years old that is!
The names Warrior Princess, Xena..Warrior Princess
AM not A CHICK OF BOWLING but I wanted to be in Manda's clique
And why would I "saw" pins in half, THATS A WASTE OF PINS! I'd rather blow it over with my storm, and 21mph ball speed on dry shots.

Well, that would explain the palace. The damn place is too cheap for oil..

Lane conditioner is oil.
When someone says they are oiling the lanes they are aplying lane conditioner.

Oh. Well, then what could be the cause? The leagues I bowl, before we start, the use a oiling machine, but when we bowl, absolutely no oil will come off, but it plays like it has medium or slightly more.

Maybe that's it, the buffing that is. There isn't too much oil, but the backends aren't dry, so maybe it's the buffing.
Anyways, thanks.
