We've got how many lanes how about???
« on: March 29, 2005, 12:58:01 AM »
Unique centers!  When I lived in Denver there was a center that was huge for the time.  It was shaped like an L (lane arrangement).  The place had and olympic pool with diving boards and was multi level.  From what I remember it was owned by Disney.  Also in the Dallas area there was Bronco Bowl.  72 lanes back to back, archery range, driving range, pool tables, and a large auditorium that later had concerts.  Braniff Place (the Airline) had 6 or 8 AMF lanes at their head quarters for employees.  Pool, Racquet ball, golf course, ping pong, gym and hotel.

I thought of one right as I ended the post.  If anyone has bowled the BJ at Denham Springs La. this year the approach has arrows on it!  The spacing of the lanes is also very different.
