Lane1 BCB vs Ultimate Inferno
« on: April 22, 2004, 12:03:40 AM »
I currently own a Black Cherry Bomb and have been offered an Ultimate Inferno at a very good price.  For those who either own or have tried both, how close are the two?  I know the obvious answer is they will be react differently due to differing cores and coverstocks.  I guess the best question to ask would be, if you could only have four balls in your arsenal and wanted to be prepared for dry or oily conditions, would these two balls be too similar to account for half of your arsenal?

According to this site, the BCB is "solid Carbide Resin", named
Carbide/R.
I just received mine at my desk - it's sitting on my lap as I type.
Yeah, I know. I need a life...
I just dropped off my new (used) Ultimate last night, and should be able to compare the two balls sometime in the next few days.
