My wife throws a 15 lb. ball approx. 14-15 mph, medium axis tilt, with some turn.  I would still consider her a stroker and she likes to play down and in.

On our league shot, the outsides are very dry.  She throws a label drilled TI Messenger and it's hooking way too much for her.  She's almost in to 3rd arrow.  She's uncomfortable there and she lacks the revs to carry consistently when she gets it to the pocket.

I was thinking of getting her a Storm Big Hit, Bruns. Power Groove, Ebonite Stinger or something like that to play more in the dry around her comfort zone (2nd arrow).  But I'm not sure if she has enough turn for those balls, and should consider a little stronger of a ball (Hot Rod, Monster SlayR) with a length drilling like a 5x5???

Thanks for any suggestions.

I've got a used power groove cheap .... make me an offer and its could be yours though i would say they are stronger than most realize.  The Sonic-X goes pretty long as well and the Visionary Slate Blue Pearl Urethane.   I have had all three balls and the Slate hits as hard as the other two.

Scout Urethane possibly???

45 bucks new off Buddies Pro Shop......

Think would be able to play pretty straight up with this and would let her get back to where she is comfy??

With the slower ball speed, the Power Groove will be too much.  So will the Big Hit.  I say go with a Red or Blue Hit by Storm or a Scout/R by Columbia.  If you want a "little more" than that hook wise, maybe try the Wild by Columbia.  They are reactive coverstocks made for drier conditions, but will still tip up enough on the back end for her.

I'd say go with a Columbia Wild, it packs a nice little punch.  As a secondary benefit, it's purdy!
