Is the 900 series now what a 300 game used to be?

9,

Don't think so.  I've thrown 5 in the last 2 years and I will tell that in almost all of those that were 1st or 2nd game, I think once did I actually start on the next 4 or 5 before a 10 pin or something.

While it might happen more than people want it to, I don't see it happening anywhere near the frequency of a 300.

Not even close...

There are 1000's of 300's every year and only a few 900's..

Once again, no comparison..

I think it's more an 800 series today is equal to what a 300 game used to be.

Based on what I am reading in the "What is your THS" topic.  I am starting to wonder if there is a certain percentage of houses that are putting out the super easy THS that account for the bulk of the current 300's being recorded.  Because so far, the response has been that not every house is putting out the super easy THS that everyone thinks is there.

Got to agree with you on this not every center is putting out a THS cake pattern.

In retrospect, I think you're probably right.  Or else I could have worded it more futuristic, as things to come - along the lines of "Is 900 becoming what 300 used to be".  Even then a bit of a stretch, I admit.
