"Dreamer" The Movie
« on: January 04, 2009, 06:35:40 PM »
I watched this classic from 1979 the other day, I had it stored in my DVR from the last time it was on Fox Classic Movies.

Do you think this will finally be the year "Dreamer" will get released on DVD?
For what it's worth this would be the 30th Anniversary edition if they decide to release it.

It's my understanding that it was a direct to video movie anyhow.  Just buy the video and transfer it to DVD yourself.  How they ever got Jack Warden and Tim Matheson to agree to be in that movie is beyond me...they must have thrown a ton of money at them because Dreamer was the biggest turd ever produced.

I looked for this on VHS for years and finally found one about 4 years ago!I am thinking about getting it transferred to dvd.Although it was not heralded as a great movie by the general public,I and most, hard core bowlers, love it.I think a true bowler can really relate to the movie!I would place it ahead of such classics as Kingpin.
