How do I go about this....

I''m in a handicap mixed league and we received our payouts.  For the 1st half we finished in 8th and 2nd half we got 6th, and were paid accordingly.  I didn''t realize until we got home that we really got sixth in the 1st half (looked at standings sheet from December).  After thinking about it, we realized that a team that got 11th in the first half was given 2nd place money! We tried calling the secretary, but of course she is not returning our phone calls or emails, and the league president''s phone number is disconnected We called the alley, and of course the rep for that particular league was unavailable.  What to do?

You can try your local association. They probably have to get involved anyway.

That was likely my next step.  I always like to give the benefit of the doubt first, but the no response thing is discouraging.  I mean this wasn't a big money league, but this isn't right.

is lith a typo or is that a real word? Does that mean a team got screwed?

It was typed in as 11th (eleventh).
