Question for golfers and bowlers!!!!
« on: April 13, 2004, 05:03:02 AM »
What do you guys think is harder under pressure, throwing a great ball to strike or spare when you need too, or plow a drive straight down the fairway or make a clutch putt when it's all on the line??? Just wondering what you guys think. For me, golf is easier under pressure, but I'm a better golfer than bowler!

Well for driving in golf I don't feel the pressure at all since I use the grip it and rip it approach. It works well for me cause it stops me from thinking. Putting I'm normally bad anyway so its hard to judge. Bowling the pressure doesn't really get to me but for some reason I wind up not carrying all of a sudden and miss the strike. It actually pisses me off a lot that i can through all light hits and strike but then hit solid and leave anything in the back row. But I digress.

other way around for me.  When the game is on the line I can usually put it right in the pocket.  now golfing, if theres pressure to make the shot usually i pull the ball left.  Much better bowler than golfer
