Protective Tape
« on: February 09, 2009, 05:41:54 AM »
Which of them is the thinnest? I need to protect the first knuckle of my finger tips. Between the cold winter here and rosin, they are tearing up pretty good.

Tried the tan Vise tape but that was too thick, and I rather not put new lifts in all my stuff just for the winter.

Thanks.

The tan Nichiban tape is the thinnest I have seen, plus you can stretch it and make it thinner.

The ebonite perfect patch is pretty good, if you need thinner than that I've used some medical micropore tape before that's super thin it's called "Fixomull" (might be a different name over the pond though) by Smith and Nephew

Turbo makes a tape that is very thin, but also very silky. I couldn't use it on my thumb because my thumb was exiting the ball way too fast.

I think that's the product.
