What happens here when the season is over?
« on: April 19, 2004, 07:52:30 AM »
Two more Wednesday nights of league and my winter season is over.  So, does this place die down over the summer?  It already seems to be slowing down a bit and I am sad.....  While I've personally met very few of you, there are so many whose posts I can't wait to read...T'would be a shame if I actually had to work during the next few months!!

Nollster, it will die down quite a bit, but won't "go away" so to speak.....

Bones get EXTRA philisophical!! Can you imagine ? And also chats a lot about golf.  Things can get nuts on the NON bowling related forum....but not as bad as when it used to be the "Anything Goes" forum!

Most people are practicing over the summer and entering tourneys , etc, etc....

What does the fall bowling leagues have to do with coming to this website?  Geez...I come here to read up on different things and to "constructively utilize some free time here at work."

I'll probably post during the summer since I'm bowling a sport league, and a doubles league with my son.  I'm REALLY looking forward to that because I bowl plastic only, and we have matching Ed, Edd & Eddy  Viz-A-Balls (if you don't know who Ed, Edd & Eddy are, you haven't watched Cartoon Network)

I know my season is nearly over... I've been at the computer (and reading here)for an hour and a half printing out the final sheets of the season.

The league itself isn't plastic only, I just make it that way.  There are five year old girls bowling with their plant 'n heave 220 averaging Daddies but it's fun all the same.

I say plant 'n heave because it qualifies.  The air isn't turned on in the building until right before we get there, so shoes with changeable soles are a must

I'm in a summer PBA pattern league -- I'm sure I'll have all kinds of rants to post!!  They changed the times for the Adult/Kiddie leagues so my boy and I can't bowl this summer!!

Im gonna be in a jr/adult league with my dad this summer. im in one with him now, and i think it makes me better with someone who i like to compete against. i had one last night, and if he hadnt bowled, we woulda lost. he shot 767 , and i just sucked, but oh well....
