Title: Quite Possibly the Weridest Leave Ever!
Post by: BowlerKidR on June 24, 2006, 10:29:00 PM: Yesterday, lefty took the 4-8 out of a clean rack. Anyone ever see this before? Ill probobly make more 7-10 splits than see the 4-8 be taken out of a full rack.

Whats the weirdest leave you have ever seen?

Post by: J_Mac on June 25, 2006, 10:27:45 AM: I was goofing off with a 6 lb. houseball the other night. I was just using my pinky finger and managed to pick out the 4-8, but I'm RHed. I also managed to convert the 4-8-10 split with a 6 lb. houseball that night too...

Post by: Hex017 on June 25, 2006, 02:16:32 PM: Eh, its the same as a righty taking out the 6-9, which Ive seen several times, so its rare but not completely wierd. One time when me a couple teamates were practicing 7 and 10s off fulls racks a friend of mine just barely clipped ten pin as his ball went to the gutter, the ten hit the nine, nine fell forward into the five, five went forward to take out the headpin. So he left the 2-3-4-6-7-8. I thought that was pretty neat.

Post by: hotwire13 on June 25, 2006, 04:04:04 PM: bowling on a shot completely messed up by the lane machine, it was basically a reverse block with NO oil inside of 10. heads were burnt, backends were burnt. the only oil was outside of 10, and from there you had to be just about perfect to get it to the pocket. i had one of the better sets in the house that day(650+ i believe it was), and had a decent game going with about 5 or 6 in a row headed into the 9th, with a chance to strike out for 250. I missed right, ball hung on the gutter, got about 55 feet down the lane and snapped right through the 6-9. it went through as if it was slow motion, neither pins on either sise were even slightly touched. somehow i made the spare, and i believe i ended in the 230's. go figure.

I've only seen this left in houses with bad machinery, but this is a nice house with synthetic lanes. His buddies made him stand up and announce it across the house, so people could come watch him try to make it. He wiffed between the 5-10. The razzing he took was brutal, I loved it

LOL That was impressive... and of course set off about a week's worth of trying to replicate the feat at practice sessions.. Able to take out several 6-9's, but never able to put it back through a second time..

Weirdest leave that I've ever seen was this weekend when a buddy of mine was practicing a left hand side spare (he's a righty) and he leaves a 2-3-10!!!
