Any ideas from you with experience on how to play the Stockholm pattern?
Any ball choices?

Don't overthink ball choice.  As with any patterns, different balls work for different people. Bring a mix of equipment and figure it out in practice. Generally, you'll want your breakpoint to be close to the gutter. If you can reduce your axis rotation consistently, this is a good pattern to do it on.

if the lane topography or oiling machine provides some natural bounce off the 1-2 board, the pattern (and any short pattern, really) can play very easy. If there's natural hang on the 1-2 board, the pattern can be very very difficult.

2 more questions for Stockholm pattern:

1. So at 34 feet, where should my ball be on the lane?
2. At 34 feet, should my ball be in the hook phase or roll phase?

If it is a light volume; then a urethane ball would probably work best.  If the volume is heavier in the front part of the lane; then you would want to use something with a dull surface and uses energy earlier so it doesnt jack knife once it encounters friction.  Also; I found this on youtube.  Chris Barnes tells you how to attack the pattern.

Get outside, use something low response and stay away from polish at least for the first few games.
The lane surface and the people crossing on your pair will dictate what balls to use, but solid symmetrics or even sanded urethane are both decent places to start.
