There is a really good review of the ball on page 25 at this link:

I used this ball at Nationals this year once the Melee Jab was too strong. It saved my bacon!

I picked up the ball today and bowled three games.....my observations are this ball does not like even a little oil.....the lanes have to be bone dry for it to work and has absolutely no back end and the carry is lousy.....will try in again when I return to Florida where most lanes I bowl on are very dry

I should have mentioned I hit mine with a hard 2000 grit.

Left out a minor detail there Nick!!  Glad we are all humans and not perfect.  I'm looking at drilling one up or a grease monkey whack. I haven't decided yet.

Play with the surface until you get it where it should be. Maybe try the 2000 suggestion. My OG grease monkey was the same way until it was hit with 2000 then it really started to perform great.

I have the grape solid rack attack and it has become a favorite of mine. I love the classic shape and predictability. Knowing what has been said about the cherry I may think about adding that one as well.

took the advice of several posters and changed the surface to 2000....same result....I compare this ball to the Morich Sahara which I bought quite some time ago and could only use as a spare ball.....this ball seems to lose energy in the back end
