Raised Track?

Long story short, I had a friend of mine drill a ball up for me with his specs. His span is a little bit shorter and he doesn't use inserts. I'm curious whether it was the lack of grip or the shortened span that severly raised my ball track? and why would either of this make this change?

Good question, I'm not really sure, I'll find out...so you don't think the either two would change the track?

Both of your suggestions could possibly change your track, but a change in pitches could definitely change your track. When changing the way you grip the ball it changes the way the ball comes off your hand.

What ball did he drill for you and what balls are you comparing the track to? -- JohnP

I got a 16lb Rogue Cell for free and decided to give his measurements a try since I liked his stuff so much.
The Track was raised compared to every ball in my bag...For example a Cell, HyRoad, Bedlam, Freeze, Reign of Fire...

OK, just wanted to be sure you weren't comparing a ball with a pancake core to one with a strong asymmetrical core. -- JohnP
