The important thing isn't what other people think of your equipment, it's what it does for you. If these balls cover the conditions you see, great. Otherwise tell the forum where and what the problems are.

Why do you have a Don Carter Urethane, and a polyester ball?

My suggestion would be to give all the reactive resin balls 2 or 3 hot water baths to try and get the soaked in oil out. You should see more reaction after doing this. Plus it doesn't cost anything.

You need a bucket or some other type of container large enough and deep enough to hold the bowling ball. Go to the bathtub and run the water until it's hot. Put a coupla drops of dish liquid in the container. put a little hot water in to mix the soap up. Put the ball in the container and add hot water until it's over the top of the ball. Let it soak for 30 to 45 minutes. Then slowly add a little more hot water to skim the floating oil off the top of the water. Dump the rest of the water and your done. BUT wait 24 hours before you use the ball to let any soaked in water evaporate.

I don't and haven't had a problem yet. Some balls change color a little bit but it's nothing to worry about.

You might also consider going over the surface of the Game with a scotchbright pad. Green or burgandy will both work fine. The TEC coverstock responds very well to scotchbright. You don't need to put the ball on a spinner, just hold the ball in your lap and go over it with even circular strokes turning the ball clockwise a quarter turn after a few strokes. Once you've gone completely around the ball, flip it over and do the other side. Then flip it 90 degrees and do it again. Then flip it completely over again and do it one more time. I think you'll find that the Game will really grab the lanes in oil after prepping the surface using this method.
Good luck!
