Sunday morning, subbing for a friend, i shoot 278-266-258 for my first 800 series. It was a year and 13 days ago when i shot my first 300 in the same house (different ball (Morich Perpetual Motion) and weight (15lbs)). Sunday, i was using my 14lb Seismic Aftermath Pearl.
First, i would like to thank Kyle Bacher (Bahshay) for allowing me to acquire my 1st two Seismic pieces, with this Aftermath Pearl being one of them. I was reading good things about them and my game still wasn't matched to my equipment like i wanted it to be at the time. So i took a chance on Seismic. I'm still new to all of the equipment, but i have been more than satisfied with everything that i have thrown. Thank you Ryan Press and Seismic for making some awesome equipment. Every company may not be for everyone, but this company has been a great addition in my life. Thank you ballreviews for the countless number of informative posts and threads that help aid fellow bowlers with expanding their game and skill level.
This was a special day for me but i still can't help but think what could have been. I had the front 9 first game until i throw the 1st ball in the 10th a little too slow. Covered the spare and filled the 10th with a strike (278). I proceed to go front 8 second game and throw the 9th frame ball a little wide, which read a little too early and checked the face leaving a split. I leave the frame open, then strike out in the 10th (266). So i know i have to shoot 256 for the 800 and i go 9/, then i think 6 in a row....spare, spare. I need a strike in the 10th and spare, and flushed the required strike, then 8 count, converted the spare for 258 and the 802 set. I was grateful for being able to reach this achievement but i truly had a chance to put up an amazing set I thank GOD for everything and i will take this series.
