Hitting the road.....here's what I've got
« on: April 23, 2014, 12:08:28 PM »
Venturing out for my first tournament in a while.  Been putting together my bag and feel OK with it for an initial run.

Just looking for some feedback on my bag and what holes you guys might see.

Radical Reax (1500 Arbralon) - 45 x 3 1/2 x 30
Brutal Nightmare (box finish) - 40 x 5 x 50
Marauder Madness (1500 Abralon) - 45 x 4 x 45
Diva (2000, polished) - 40 x 5 x 65
Misfit Pearl (box finish) - 45 x 4 x 65

Also using
Roto Grip Horizon Solid (2000 Abralon)- 45 x 4 x 70
Blue Hammer

I've also got a Freakin' Frantic and 2 Madnesses NIB.  (got some great deals)

The Marauder Madness is my benchmark. Just a wonderful, smooth reaction, but still pops downlane. I feel like this lineup gives me good transitional pieces as they break down/carry down, but I feel like there might be a spot for something between the Diva and the Misfit.

I've considered something with a weaker pin closer to the PAP for situations where the backends are flying. Also, I plan on hitting the road with this stuff and wonder how it will react on the current tournament patterns. Am I way off with these layouts/combination or should these be complimentary?

Thoughts? Suggestions?

I think your bag looks pretty good!
Shouldn't the Diva and Madness be ok for when the backends are strong?
I'd consider another pin up to give you more length/backend for getting in when the heads burn.  The Freakin' should fill that gap, but the Mutiny with a similar layout to your Madness would also be another solid choice.

I feel like I've got a good range of motion and the Diva can take some surface if needed.
