Spare ball suggestions
« on: March 16, 2005, 12:59:12 PM »
My dear, dear blue Ebonite Gemstone spare ball met a screw tonight...about 20 times.  It was about on it's last legs anyhow.

Was wondering if there was a consensus on what the coolest spare ball out was.  I was hoping that since they had become a PBA sponsor, there'd be a Denny's ball floating around, as a sort of combination ball/pop-art, but I haven't seen one.  So what does everyone else like?

Definitely the Roto-grip Spare Tire.  The color-shifter Target Zones sound neat, but I haven't seen one yet.

If you throw 16, there's no cooler spare ball than this, IMHO:

If you throw 15, here's my choice (this is what I throw, BTW):

I am seriously thinking about getting a 15 lbs. "Hello Kitty" Viz-a-ball from Brunswick... although not a pink one

The Cambridge Credit balls were given out/sold/something at the tour stop at Bradley Bowl a couple years ago (The one in the blizzard, Mika shot a 300 on the show.)  Haven't seen them otherwise.

I *had* to get a Hello Kitty pink one for an expensive paperweight (Strikeball money paid for it, so why not?)

I stand my my PINK  White Dot  I'll throw that thing until it crumbles like Fred Flintstone's ball.

You might want to check out Malone's Lane Hawk "the Gambler" Due in early April. I have my order in for one.

Yep, the Circle Rio balls are pretty nice, especially because of their high colour separation.
