Does Track Rule (Redone)
« on: March 17, 2005, 10:36:39 PM »
Hey Gang! I kind of messed up about that last post.  Ok
I'll try again. My friend who I was bowling against last
Tuesday night totally ripped on me because in the second
game I threw two pocket 8-10 and a pocket 7-10.  I was throwing
a Hammer Sharp Blade He said that if I had thrown Track equipment
that wouldn't have happen (Of course he throws Track balls) then
he said that those Hammer balls hit like those cheap Brunswick
balls and react like those Lane #1 balls.  So, I thought I better
post this on Ball reviews and see what me friends say about this.
So, sound out from all you Brunswick, Lane #1 and Hammer people and
tell me what I should tell my friend next Tuesday at my league.
Thanks again and sorry about the last post I messed up on.  See ya!

Light hits wont do any good if the pins are all

Your friend is obviously misinformed. 99% of the time, it aint the ball, its the bowler.

I have left some crappy pins before, when I do, my team mates rag on me and all I tell them is..." I planned it that way...can you do that ?" With the exception of my wife...(oh well we all know about them)..it usually shuts them up pretty fast. If that didn't work, I'd say..I needed the 7-10 practice , am working on the award. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

my 2 cents are up

Your friend's a bias jackass.

Like earlier above me, it's the bowler. There aren't many balls I've seen that create consistent hitting from one bowler to another; maybe the orginal Inferno and even then.....

I throw Hammer Diesels and love the hit, but they match my game.

I throw Track, and I feel it is the best.

With that said, most companies are making great equipment these days. Your misfortune could have come from any number of things, including but not limited to: slightly more speed, a little more or less around the ball at release, or even pins that were off spot.

different strokes for different folks.  I myself am kicking butt with some of those "cheap" brunswick balls right now, but brother they ain't cheap!

you could've left that crap with any ball made if you throw it a little off sometimes. had nothing to do with the ball, just a bad toss or two. ( got to admit, I did like my mutant. that's the last track I had)but for me it couldn't compare to the infernos.
