My specs are in my profile.  About 2 months ago I changed my grip which required plugging and redrilling ALL my equipment. I have 9 balls in my arsenal. Now I am wanting to purchase all new balls and have already begun. I am trying to build a tournament arsenal (for PBA/Sport) as I am not so concerned abouth scoring on THS.

Here is what I already have new:
1. Green Vibe
2. Virtual Energy
3. C2Systems

Here is what I am going to replace:
1. Hyroad
2. Cell (or Mutant)

This leaves me with 4 balls and I thought I would see what the group thinks I should get. I will be buying the remaining balls before christmas (my christmas presents to me since I have won about $2k in the last month bowling).

VE is more than the Hyroad.

My thoughts for 9 balls are, 3 lengths X 2 shapes = 6 balls plus a straight ball, a hooker and than a speciality (probably a RICO).

for all sport/pba exp id look into virtual gravity or if you can wait till mid/late january for a ball the new storm invasion is looking pretty

mid price onyx vibe looks strong or the new hammer jacked ive heard good things about.the oynx is stronger than advertized and is my next ball santa has it on the way for me.good luck with your choices

I'm in the same situation at the original poster, except that I'm just coming back into the fold after some time away from the game. At the first of the year I plan on getting a couple of new pieces and since there are a lot of different ways to go and while lurking here, there seems to be a lot of good people here can help me make a decision.
