Hey everyone,
I'm heading up to an ABT event this weekend and I'm curious as to which balls I should bring with me. I have enough room in the bags to hold 6, so that's what I'm brining. Here's what I've got:
Track Animal (Box finish, drilled to roll early and arc the entire lane)
DT Thing Lives (Polished, drilled for solid midlane and good backend)
Hammer Blade (Polished, drilled label leverage)
X-Factor Ace (Box, drilled for a bit of midlane and strong backend)
X-Factor Pro (Box, drilled for length and snap)
Fab Reaper 2 (Polished, drilled to go long and bounce off the dry)
Hammer Blade Pearl (Box, drilled for controlled, hook-set reaction)
Target Zone (Spares)
Because ABT shots tend to be wet-dry, I'm thinking of leaving the Blade and the Reaper 2 behind. Then again, I'm also considering leaving the X-Ace at home since the reaction is close to that of my X-Pro, and I'm more comfortable with the X-Pro. What do you guys and gals think? At most of these events, the shot is usually inside around 3rd or 4th arrow. From there you can play a small belly and keep it straighter or go way left and swing it through the middle for hold and let the backends bring it ripping back into the hole. In either case, you just have to make sure not to get slow on the inside or to fire it through the breakpoint into the OB that is outside. I am comfortable with either line, though I probably prefer to play the deeper shot. Anyhow, let me know if you need any more info about me. Any help you can offer is appreciated.

I can't bowl 300, but I can bench 315 : )
