Three weakest reactives (still commonly available) are usually the Tropical Storm, Blue Hammer remake and Brunswick Rhino. BTU Pearl might be a good choice as well as it does well with fried heads. Hot Cell and The Crow would both be a full step above the Rebel Tank if go urethane route (Tank Rampage would probably be like 3/4 step up). Urethane generally doesn't burn the track up faster (not absorbing oil after all only pushing it slightly) but unless its pearl urethane it does usually require some head oil to do well. Usually whose burning up the track are other bowlers with reactives. My go to patchy reactive ball other than my Blue Hammer is my Pyramid Path Rising I have drilled very weak but I am speed dominant as well. Wish could give review but haven't seen conditions yet crappy enough to use it. Might go over to the crappy university lanes sometime to try out some of my dry lane stuff.(edit: forgot about C300 Scout and Ebi Crush/R but never thrown those balls)

Im pretty sure the Rhino is close to the Path rising, Tropical Storm so he should be able to give me some pointers.Basically my question is this... when you go to Brunswick website, the BTU pearl hook potential is 120 vs the Rhino being 95 but it shows that you need to start way more left with the Rhino than the BTU pearl so that doesnt make sense to me. If I have a weaker ball, I have to move right, not left. So either the Rhino data & line is wrong or the BTU pearl data & line is wrong. Unless someone knows the answer to thathttp://www.bowlwithbrunswick.com/balls/detail/fanatic-btu-pearl/http://www.bowlwithbrunswick.com/balls/detail/rhino-red-black-gold-pearl/
Have had my eye on both those BTU balls and think they would be a valuable addition to an arsenal for sure (not so much mine with a crap ton of urethane and pseudo urethane already). They would probably be more versatile than the Rhino but may be harder to keep on the lane for someone with high revs on the dry.
No problem. Let u know how they perform at 4000; keep in mind the grease monkey may go NUTS off the pattern if it's too much friction /carry down.
