that is the problem with the Queens they put a different shot down the week of the Queens so the big dogs can score. They wonder why there entries are down every year because of that BS

On a semi-related note, we had a tournament here a few months back that attracted a handful of guys who regularly bowl the regional tour, including at least a couple with multiple cashes. May have been a titlist in the bunch but I can't say for sure about that.

Anyway, we laid down a moderately difficult shot. Ratio was probably 4-to-1 or 5-to-1, but the two things that made it most difficult were high volume and length (45 feet).

I found it interesting that, on forums such as PBA.com and sometimes this one, that guys with their card are banging the drum for tougher conditions, standard balls, banning resin, etc. But don't you dare invite a bunch of them to your tournament and lay down a more difficult shot, because guess where most of the b*tching was concentrated? Do as I say, not as...

No they didn't change the shot.  The quality of the competitors went way up...
remember the women are not bowling on a sport compliant pattern this year.   It was more of a house shot and they hit it pretty well.

The shot for the Queens tournament is different from the regular womens tournament shot.  I believe the Queens shot is sport compliant. The drop brush machine has made a big difference in the scoring pace for the bowlers who know what htey are doing.
