What is the best day to see PBA?

PBA will be close to my house twice this year. I was wondering what the best day for a spectator besides sunday?

Any info appreciated.

personally I like going over to watch them qualify....you can stand right next to them....sit right behind the setee area and see the matches.....I like that atmosphere.......

I agree with Revs....earlier rounds are more interesting....less people so you can see...etc.

I'll be going over to Milwaukee/ABC Masters tomorrow to watch the 10 AM 5 game qualifying block after they make the cut to 144 and before they go to 63 +WRW.  I may get back on Sat.  I won't go to Miller Park on Sunday...can't see very well.  Better on TV.

BTW-if you've never seen a Masters it's well worth it better than a reg. PBA stop because of the long format and double elimination.  Makes for some very interesting matches.

With the old format I liked to go to the early qualifying rounds. I would pick out a good spot and stay there as they would all pass by as they changed lanes. Then I would like to go to the last round of match play.

Today’s format I would either pick the first round match play or the round of 8. The round of 8 will get real intense as the winners make the show and the only ones left are the bowlers who have been best on the condition that week.

johns811 -- I personally like to watch them on the practice day.  No competition, so very informal.  They will sign autographs and some will talk to you, answer questions, etc.  You can watch the different lines they work on as they figure out how they're going to play the lanes.  --  JohnP

I agree with JohnP.
It is really cool to watch them play all over the lane to see what works best on that condition. Most will play everywhere between the twig and way DEEP during practice.
