Reporting an honor score
« on: November 08, 2004, 01:33:16 PM »
I finally beat my high game in league this evening which was previously a 290 during a college conference match in 1990. I shot 254-236-299 (left a stubborn 6 pin in the 12th) for a 789 series. The ball of choice this evening was a Storm Hot Wire.

Thanks to everyone on the board, especially the likes of Dick Nean (for selling the ball to me), Charlest and tenpinspro for layout suggestions, John Z and Chris G. of DJ's Pro shop in Auburn,MA where I get all my equipment drilled, Tenpinitis, Excalibur, The Bowling Kid 25, and Iketown for all the great bowling conversation on and off the board, to everyone who has ever thrown an honor score in their lifetime. 29 years of bowling and I'm finally at a 299 game, so a 300 can't be far away...

Matt

Conrats again Matt!!  Always more than happy to hear a customer / friend of the shop achieving goals and enjoying the game.

On a side note...I talked with John earlier today and he got your e-mail.

That 300 is probably right around the corner!
