i agree with pacman, same thing on the golf video too, you are forcing the shot,  you have to let the ball (bowling) and club (golfing) do the work.  also an important thing that a ton of people on here hear all the time.  a little more knee bend would not kill ya. keep your hand under the ball, your coming up the back.

First off, I enjoy and respect your advice.  What you must remember is I am playing pretty much up 10 in this video.  So, if you hand were around the ball I couldn't play the line.  I will try and get a video soon of me playing deeper.  I will get a side video as well so everyone can see my form better.  I asked the cameraman to stand closer but he didn't.

Your slide foot needs to be ahead of the ball so guess what andrew stay with it and do not change that at all. You come up the back good also yes you can learn other releases in the near future but coming up the back snaps harder on the backend anyway. You need to post front/side shots and then we can look at your setup better and first steps, you do have a musculing problem but with the right changes it will come very easy to you being a younger man. There are steps to get to knee bend you dont just start putting it in without the right steps first if you go in order it will work every shot and you will be able to self diagnoise your timing and setup on your own. Post shome other shots and i will see if i can help you any good luck-barry

You don't have to post twice.  I get the point sheeezz!

Yes, I do top the ball on occassion.  I have a hard time relaxing and just swinging the ball.

Agroves - A couple things on the golf swing.  I would suggest two things that I noticed right away.  First is your right knee I would not let it rotate too far back.  Keep it pointed toward the ball.  Align your right foot perpendicular to your path.  This will stabilize your hips and increase the torque and not allow you to slide too far behind the ball.  Think of how a pitcher uses the base leg to throw a ball.

Second is your left arm.  You are trying to take the club back farther to increase the swing but you are shortening the arc by bending the left elbow.  By bending the left elbow and then trying to straighten it out you are changing your distance from the ball and this is why you don't catch it cleanly.  Try only taking the club back to 9:00 but keep your left arm straight.  You will increase your distance and be much more accurate.  Very few people have the flexibility to take the club head back to 11:00 and be accurate.  I have worked with many people and have made great improvements.  Try it out.

As to the spine angle.  You are arching your back to bend over instead of keeping your back straght and bending from the hip sockets.  Try this stand stright up and then sit down as if on a bar stool then bend from the hip sockets.  This will reduce fatigue from the back and not tear your spine to pieces when you rotate the golf swing.

I am close to geting my certification for golf injuries and swing mechanics.  This is taught by a PGA member and a chiropractor if you are wondering what my qualifications are.

I hope this helps.  Make another video of this later and I will help you out more.
