Title: ReRating Bowler
Post by: Zanatos1914 on October 04, 2011, 12:04:23 AM
I would like to know your option on ReRating Bowlers in tournament....  The person finished the entire season and really didnt have a good season for some odd reason.  Next the person goes to tournament and shots allot better than his avg and they rerate the bowler because of that.. Is this right or wrong...

Based on USBC rules, a tournment director cannot rerate after the bowler shoot his scores. Rerating must take place before the Tournament begins. This gives the bowler the option to leave.

319c. Average Adjustments (Rerating)

The average of a bowler may be adjusted upward before participation in any event. If the assigned average is not accepted by the bowler, the entry fee shall be refunded
