Resin/Particle balls that hold up best on wood lanes
« on: March 30, 2004, 11:47:32 AM »
Just curious to know what equipment that people use in these categories that holds up the best on wood lanes. The problem I have in my immediate area is the houses are all wood and the newer equipment really takes a beating on these conditions. My Eraser Pearl Particle for instance tonight had two sizeable belt scorch marks (one over the thumb hole, the other about 1/2 inch right of my track) and I also noticed a nice light white scratch that extended a good 3 inches across my ball (luckily not near my track). I don't expect either house to make the move to completely synthetic lanes, so what is a bowler to do in these cases?
